Dangote Refinery Lowers Petrol Price Once More, to ₦835 per Litre

The gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also referred to as gasoline, has once again been lowered by Dangote Petroleum Refinery.

In a new attempt to lower fuel prices, the price has decreased by 3.5%, from ₦865 to ₦835 per liter.

The change coincides with a drop in the price of crude oil globally, which in recent weeks has dropped from above $70 to about $64 per barrel.

The refinery already lowered the price from ₦880 to ₦865 per litre, and this is the second recent cut.

Marketers did not pass the savings on to customers at the pump in spite of that action.
