Human Rights Attorney, Falana Challenges Nyesom Wike to Report him to the Legal Practitioners' Disciplinary Committee

The Federal Capital Territory's Minister, Nyesom Wike, has been challenged by human rights attorney, Femi Falana to report him to the Legal Practitioners' Disciplinary Committee for analysis of the Supreme Court's ruling on the political situation in Rivers State.

Falana claimed in a statement on Sunday that the FCT minister is making fruitless attempts to get the Supreme Court to be against him.  According to the SAN, he did not fabricate or falsify the Supreme Court's ruling regarding the defection of 27 members of the Rivers State House of Assembly, unlike what Wike claimed.  He rejected Wike's assertions.

Recall that the FCT minister had publicly criticised Falana during a press conference in Abuja, saying that the senior lawyer misrepresented the Supreme Court’s ruling on national TV.
