Sheriff Oborevwori to Face Legal Action from PDP NWC.

By John Obe

The Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, and other important players who recently defected to the APC will face legal action from the PDP National Working Committee, NWC.

Following a lengthy six-hour meeting behind closed doors at the party's national secretariat in Abuja on Tuesday, the party's leadership issued a statement ordering the PDP National Legal Adviser to begin the process of recovering what it described as the party's stolen mandate in Delta State.

According to Umar Damagum, the Acting National Chairman, the party's fortunes cannot be simply left in the hands of its enemies.

The party leadership designated Emma Ogidi, its South-South Zonal Chairman, to oversee affairs in Delta and spearhead reorganization efforts in an attempt to stabilize the party's structure in the state.
