Barcelona Loses to Inter Milan in the Champions League Semi Final

By John Ollor Obe

In a thrilling semi-final second leg match, Inter Milan defeated Barcelona 4-3 (7-6 on aggregate) to clinch their spot in the 2025 UEFA Champions League final.

The match was a wild ride from beginning to end, with goals from Eric García, Dani Olmo, and Raphinha giving Barcelona the lead 2-0, but Inter's Francesco Acerbi scored a stoppage-time equalizer to force extra time just as it appeared that Xavi's team would advance to the final.

Davide Frattesi was the hero in extra time, scoring the game-winning goal that stunned the home crowd and ended Barcelona's hopes of a comeback.

Final Score: Inter 4 - 3 Barcelona (Agg: 7 - 6).

Inter will now play either PSG or Arsenal in the final match on May 31 in Munich.
